Fundraiser for Megan
Megan is a fellow woodworker and has had some serious loss occur recently. Her shop caught fire a few weeks ago and my dear friend lost all her tools, long time stored and loved barn wood and some personal items. I went to help her clean out her shop space and found some scorched pieces that were mostly burned. I found them so beautiful and though it would be fun to add epoxy to them and sell them for Megan. Here are the pieces available and the funds made from each pieces will go straight to rebuilding her shop and business. Thank you for donating and listening to her story.
From the Ashes Collection
Each of these pieces in this collection were pulled from the actual wreckage of the fire. Megan usually makes hearts, mountains and other barnwood art pieces and furniture. These charred remnants have been hand dipped in epoxy resin and are a tribute to her resiliency. Taking theses pieces from the ashes and making them whole again has been a pleasure.
