I upgraded my can lighting to led and it took about an hour and about $100 total!
I have been interested in upgrading the lighting on our main floor for a few years. We put LED cans in our basement and they were so easy to install and looked so nice! I decided to make a quick video because it was a project that I was initially intimidated by, but its SUPER EASY and makes a world of difference.
I had 11ish to redo and it took me about an hour....

There are different levels of lumens, I went with a warm light but if you need it brighter you may want to go up to 3000k lumens. It is an option you choose when clicking the link above.
