EASY DIY BUILT IN BOOKSHELF

In this video I want to show you how I made these beautiful open bookshelves on a tight budget and some imagination. I built these bookshelves floor to ceiling and I am using pretty beginner friendly and easy joinery so almost ANYONE can do it! These are the kinds of DIY PROJECTS I love! This video will cover only half of the space as I am doing ANOTHER VIDEO that will include my second IKEA HACK SHELF idea, so be sure to check back for that one!

I do have free plans on my website to go along with this video. Remember that these measurements are for my space, so make sure you measure your space and adjust them to best fit YOUR space.

As you can see our before was in need of a big renovation and organization system. My husband owns a lot of books… A LOT OF BOOKS and we needed a way to store them. I just wanted to get rid of them and make the space aesthetically pleasing (this is the longest ongoing fight in our marriage lol I want pretty, he wants function) and I designed this bookcase off of a insp pic! Isnt it so pretty!? I love them and I am so excited to share it all with you.
