How to make a Woven Bench

This bench was a bit of a scary undertaking. I honestly wasn't sure I would be able to figure out how to weave the top and if it would even work. GUYS, it turned out PERFECT. I originally got the idea when I was designing the dining room for the Brightness Builds project. I wanted to help give them more seating because they have a very large family that comes to visit often. But I wanted it to be pretty of course and this EXCEEDED my expectations! Its SO PRETTY.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

4 - 2x4x8's (make sure they are dry).

2" Kreg Screws - https://amzn.to/2VHu75V

Small 1-1/4 nails- similar to this https://amzn.to/3i66Ceb

4 spools of Macrame Cord-https://amzn.to/3kek56z

If you make a shorter bench then you wont need quite as many spools.

Do you think it'd make much of a difference if I use the10mm spool of macrame instead? Like would it be better or worse somehow?

It might have a different look with a thicker rope and make sure your nails are big enough to hold the thicker rope. The amount of times you go around as well will probably be different so just be mindful of those things.
